Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi (Day includes: D & BB).Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi, Kenya. After passing through customs, your waiting driver guide from JACKO AFRICA SAFARIS will transfer you to Nairobi Serena Hotel. Rest of the day is spent at leisure. Courtesy dinner at the hotel.  Overnight at the same: Nairobi Serena Hotel – BB [Note: If you arrive at the hotel after 21h00 end of dinner time, then no dinner, but bed & breakfast].

Day 2: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park (Day includes: B, L&D). After a sumptuous breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park. This park is famous for the big herds of elephants and the view of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. The snow capped peak sometimes is covered by clouds. Lunch at the lodge and you have some time to relax or enjoy the sun heated swimming pool, before leaving for a game drive this afternoon. We will be back in time for shower before dinner. In addition to elephant, antelope, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and the occasional elusive leopard, nearly every vista within the park is framed by majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.  Dinner and overnight: Amboseli Serena Lodge. 

Day 3: Amboseli – Arusha Town – Lake Manyara Serena. (Day includes: B, L-&D). Early morning game drive in Amboseli N. Park for best chances of viewing the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for full breakfast, after which you check out and drive to the Kenya/Tanzania Namanga Border. After immigration and customs formalities the Kenya driver guide will hand you over to Tanzanian counterpart, who will drive you through scenic countryside to Arusha for late lunch at The Arusha Hotel. After lunch, drive on to Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. There is no game drive of Lake Manyara National Park today, till the next morning. Dinner and overnight: Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. 

Day 4: Lake Manyara N. Park – Ngorongoro (Day includes: B, L&D). Check out of the room, breakfast, and depart for Lake Manyara National Park morning game drive in search of the elusive tree-climbing lions, returning for lunch at the Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. After lunch, you will then begin your road trip into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for rest, dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. 

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater (Day includes: B, L&D). After breakfast, commence your tour of Ngorongoro Crater descending once onto the caldera floor for a truly fascinating game viewing experience. Either you carry a picnic lunch box provided by the lodge for the day, or you will return to the lodge for late lunch - done for the day. Evening at leisure at the lodge, waiting for the in-house entertainment program. Dinner and overnight: Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. 

Day 6: Ngorongoro – Serengeti (Day includes: B, L&D). After breakfast you will begin your journey to Serengeti with picnic lunch box(es). En route you will stop over to visit Olduvai Gorge, the archaeological site famous for the discovery in 1959 of a humanoid fossil by Mary and Louis Leakey. The site offers a small but very informative museum.

On your way to Serengeti Serena Lodge you will enjoy a game drive and a chance to spot wildlife. Lunch box(es) at a convenient point inside the Serengeti N. Park. In the afternoon you will still be in no hurry on an en route game drive to your lodge, reachable between 4:30 and 5:00 pm - done for the day. Dinner and overnight: Serengeti Serena Lodge. 

Day 7: Explore Serengeti (Day includes: B, L&D). Enjoy a wonderful full day of game viewing. After breakfast you embark on a morning game drive on the endless plains with acacia trees scattered across the taupe landscape. Hopefully you’ll see everything from zebra, elephant giraffe, to lion, leopard, cheetah, etc.

After lunch back at the lodge, set out on another afternoon game drive seeing more of the varied Tanzanian fauna and flora. On your return to the lodge, you can freshen up and relax before dinner with your fellow guests. All meals and overnight: Serengeti Serena Lodge. 

Day 8: Serengeti – Masai Mara. (Day includes: B, L&D). Overland drive from Serengeti Serena with picnic lunch boxes at Sirari / Isebania Border. After border formalities, drive on into Masai Mara. As soon as you arrive in the Mara, you will be greeted by the amazing abundant wildlife.  You will probably see gazelles, wildebeests and elephants first. Check in at your lodge once at the end of your day’s experience. Dinner and overnight: Mara Serena Lodge.

Day 9: Explore Masai Mara. (Day includes: B, L&D). Today you will enjoy game viewing in this magnificent Masai Mara on morning and afternoon game drives. Large mammals are varied, abundant and easy to see. Residents among the park’s mammals are; Masai Giraffe, Eland, Topi, thousands of plain game including Impala, Zebra, both Thomson’s and Grant's Gazelles. This is the time of the Great Wildebeests Migration - when thousands of thousands of wildebeests cross to Kenya from Tanzania. All meals and overnight at: Mara Serena Lodge. 

Today you may offer yourself a hot-air balloon flight – an unforgettable experience to float for 1 hour over the Masai Mara plains. The cost is US $ 500.00 per person at the time of writing this itinerary. This price is NOT included in the package!

Day 10: Masai Mara – Nairobi. (Day includes: B & L). Leisurely breakfast at the lodge. In mid-morning, you fly 45 minutes to Nairobi between 11h00 and 12h15. Upon arrival, proceed to the Carnivore Restaurant for our farewell lunch. Afterwards rest in your included dayroom(s) at the Panari Hotel, Nairobi. No dinner, but subsequent transfer by Jacko Africa Safaris to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your home-bound flight.
